INDIA’s COUNSEL HARISH SALVE TOLD IN ICJ THAT JADAV’s CONFESSION IS A FORCE ONE AND PAKISTAN MAY HANG HIM BEFORE COURT’s ORDER :


India’s counsel Harish Salve was presenting the case of Jadav before the ICJ.    Harish Salve said,”Kulbhushan Jadhav was abducted and the confession that he was a spy, forced.   India seeks annulment of Pakistan’s verdict. India’s position has been consistent that Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran and confession was extracted in military custody  Visa application filed by Kulbhushan Jadhav’s parents is still pending.” He also expressed,”There is fear that  Pakistan will hang Kulbhushan Jadhav before UN court order.  Human rights which are treated as “basics” have been thrown to the wind by Pakistan.”   Pakistan repeatedly denied consular access to India and no document of Jadhav’s trial process was given by Islamabad.  All requests for consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav fell on “deaf ears”. He said,”  The present situation is grave and that is why India has sought the indulgence of the ICJ.   India calls for immediate suspension of Kulbhushan Jadhav’s death sentence and accuses Pakistan of violating the Vienna Convention  of consular access.”   The Rediff.com : 15th.
