AFTER LONG WAIT, REGULAR TRAIN SERVICES FROM KHURDA ROAD TO NAYAGARH HAVE BEEN STARTED :

The long wait for railway services to Odisha’s Nayagarh finally came to an end  with Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu flagging off the first train from the district through video conferencing at Rail Bhawan, New Delhi in the presence of Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Bhubaneswar MP Prasanna Kumar Patasani.  On the inaugural day, the train ran as a special train from Nayagarh Town station towards Khurda road station.  Prabhu also inaugurated the Nayagarh Town station building and Bolagarh Road passenger halt on the occasion.  Worth mentioning, the construction of railway track between Bolagarh Road station and Nayagarh Town station– a part of the ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir Rail Line Project– has been completed and the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety has given nod for train services in the route. Train Timings :   58430 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road Passenger will leave Nayagarh Town at 05.00 hrs and will reach Khurda Road at 07.00 hrs. In the return direction, 58429 Khurda Road-Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 19.35 hrs and will reach Nayagarh Town at 21.30 hrs.  58431 Khurda Road- Nayagarh Town Passenger will leave Khurda Road at 07.45 hrs and will reach Nayagarh Town at 09.30 hrs. In the return direction, 58432 Nayagarh Town-Khurda Road Passenger will leave Nayagarh Town at 10.00 hrs and will reach Khurda Road at 11.30 hrs. Stoppages :  Both the trains have 10 Second Class Seating and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans having Stoppages at Khurda Town, Begunia, Rajsunakhala, Bolagarh Town PH & Bolagarh Road Stations between Khurda Road & Nayagarh Town from both the directions.​  The Odisha Sun Times Bureau : 20th.
