ACTOR & TALK SHOW HOST KARAN SINGH CHHABRA MET ACTRESS SRIDEVI AND PRAISED HER :

Actor and talk show host Karan Singh Chhabra recently met veteran actor Sridevi and is all praises for her. Karan says that besides getting acting advice from her, they also discussed her upcoming film ‘Mom’. Talking about Sridevi, Karan says, “It was great meeting her, I learnt a lot from her. She told me she is a director’s actor. She also advised me to always follow your director. She said that an actor can improvise, but at the end of the day, it should be the director’s call.”  Karan is a big fan of Sridevi and loves most of her work. “I love her films. I think she is a brilliant actor. My favourites are ‘Chaalbaaz’ and ‘Mr India’,” he says.  The two also spoke about Sridevi’s upcoming film ‘Mom’ and Karan is convinced that it will rake in numbers at the box office. “The film will do well because the story revolves around a mother who is struggling. Srideviji, being a mother, said that she could relate to it very well. She also shared that it was fun to work with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I had always pictured him as someone serious. She shared that he is serious but he has his own style of cracking light jokes and in a very subtle way. He does not speak much but the other person ends up laughing,” he says, adding that the actor has plans of doing another film soon. “She had kept her fans waiting for almost four years, after her film ‘English Vinglish’, so I asked her after how much time would it take for her fans to see her next. She said she is hoping that her next film will come out soon and she will not have to keep her fans waiting for too long,” he says.  The Times  of  India : 26th. June,17
