WHY THE GOVT. IS DOING UNNECESSARY PAPER WORK LIKE GI TAG FOR KANDHAMAL HALDI, RASOGOLLA ETC. INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTS OF THE PEOPLE IN THE STATE OF ODISHA ?

It is seen that some powerful bureaucrates are doing unnecessary paper works in the name of GI Tag for Rasagola, Kandhamal Haldi etc. etc. without doing their original works for which they have been appointed.  These unnecessary activities are done by  some groups of  bureaucrates  in the name of ISO, GI Tag etc. for pleasing the Ministers and higher level people.  As a common man I am asking as to whether by this process, the socio-economic conditions of the people will  be developed? Please first see the conditions of the roads, schools, hospitals in the tribal areas of  Odisha.  Has the government able to fulfil their minimum necessity like food, clothes, shelter till date ?  Why these tribal people are joining in the Naxal groups ?  First the concerned Minister and his bureaucrates who are making various plans by sitting inside air conditiond room in Bhubaneswar, should  visit  the area and understand the socio-economic conditions of the  people who are producing these products.  Generally we can say that they are far away from all the  government’s welfare programmes for which they are leading the lives as it is which were before 50 years.  Without doing this type of unnecessary paper works, the government and the bureaucrates should focus on the  real socio-economic conditions of the people in remote tribal areas of  Odisha.
